# Plans, trial, and billing

Sign up and we'll give you the whole Pro studio for 14 days. No credit card, no catch. After the trial, the account drops to Free. Everything you created stays; you just can't add new style guides or people beyond the Free limits until you upgrade.

## What you keep on Free

- 1 style guide
- 3 people on that guide
- The full Palette library, including favorites
- Client guides include a Shutterstyle banner

It's enough to run the whole loop with a real family and see if it sticks. If a [Copy](/help/copy-an-inspiration) would put you over the one-guide limit, we'll ask you to upgrade first.

## What Pro adds

- Unlimited style guides and people
- [Client Closet](/help/closet-and-catalog)
- Your branding on client guides (Shutterstyle stays a small footer)
- $19 a month, or $190 a year (~17% off)

The Palette library isn't a Pro extra. Every plan can favorite and attach any Palette. What Pro unlocks is how many guides you can keep, Closet, and whose name sits on the client page.

## Upgrade and cancel

Upgrade from Settings. Pick monthly or annual, then Polar handles checkout.

Cancel from Settings whenever. You keep Pro through the end of the billing period, then drop to Free. No extra fees. Guides and Closet items you already made stay; you just can't add past the Free limits.

Manage cards, invoices, and the subscription itself in the billing portal from the same Settings page.

## During the trial

The trial *is* Pro. Closet is open. Client guides use your branding. Day 15, if you haven't upgraded, you're on Free — existing work stays put.

If a friend referred you, reward days wait until you actually choose Pro — they don't apply to the trial itself. [How Share rewards work](/help/share-rewards).
